Register your cleanup event by July 31st to receive free T-shirts or patches  for your volunteers (first come first serve basis), a radio PSA (Public Service Announcement), educational posters and promotional posters to help you advertise your cleanup event.  In addition, your event may qualify for a 3 x 6 ft. Rivers Alive banner that lists statewide sponsors of the event.

Data Collection Card - Rivers Alive encourages you to use this data sheet to collect detailed information on what types of trash are being collected.   At the local level, this information may help identify sources of trash on the waterway that can be eliminated.  On a statewide level, this data can help identify where education efforts need to be concentrated in order to reduce pollution of our waterways.  Globally, the data is submitted to The Ocean Conservancy and incorporated into their annual report, which has been used by EPA, the U.S. Coast Guard, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and others to identify threats facing the waters of the nation. Please click on the link above and download the form to use at your event.

Final tally form  - Please submit this form after you have completed your cleanup. Please take a look at the final tally form so that you will be aware of what type of information we will want you to include in your final report, such as pounds and/or bags of trash removed, number of dump truck loads, pounds of recyclable products, river miles cleaned, and more.
